Nothing Less Than Full Victory #DDay

View on Facebook

We had a wonderful Memorial Day Ceremony on this past Monday. We would like to thank the following for their participation, Sullivan James for leading the invocation; the Cowtown Coliseum for their assistance with power and chairs; the Young Marines that provided the Color Guard; and of course all of the volunteers of the Military Museum who continue to give day in day out.
We were also excited to announce the winner of the 1st annual Military History Poetry Contest, which was held in conjunction with the Fort Worth Poetry Society, Blackbead Books, and Roll Call. The society announced they will be holding another next year, so be sure to get your pen and paper out and pay a little homage to military in prose, 32 lines or less. You can do it, the entry fees raise money for the museum to grow.
